Orange Team Pulls out an Intramural Victory, Friday, April 16th, 2010!

At Summit, we are commited to excellence in education in a Christ centered atmosphere. Physical Education is no exception. We include Biblical principles in every class for all ages.

Competition Sports

Our competition sports program is designed for boys and girls in grades 6th-8th. Basketball is a serious sport around here. Last year our girls team had a 12-0 season and the boys were State ACSI champs!

Physical Education classes, competitive athlethics, and intramural sports program for grades Pre-K through 8th.

Summit Christian School offers multiple athletic opportunities for boys and girls through club sports, intramural competitions and competitive teams. Our goal is to assist students in developing their physical, personal, and spiritual skills that can be applied to all areas of life.

We have three club sports to choose from. The golf league begins in the fall and is available for those students in 6th - 8th grade. The flag football team is available for students 2nd - 4th grade, and our ski club is available for students in 3rd - 8th grade.

Our intramural basketball program beings in February and runs through March. Teams are comprised of boys and girls who are in 4th - 6th grade.

Our competitive basketball program gives an opportunity for young men and women to come together with a common goal. Our purpose is not just to win games, but also to unify, mature and learn skills that improve our physical, social and mental health. We are involved with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and compete in Sectional, District and Regional tournaments where our boys team took home the state trophy in 2008-09. Tournaments are in early February.
